Traditionally a DEV project takes around 90 days. There are three phases, each 30 days (roughly):
- Phase 1: Implementation – creating the project plan, communications, video, web portals, census files, internal announcement, more
- Phase 2: Document collection – process documents, customer service, back and forth with employees about how to finish the requirement, incentive programs, more
- Phase 3: Grace Period and Close – grace period for late submissions, outbound calls, chasing stragglers, appeals processing, carrier reporting, more
